Angel Care Preschool, Fendalton, Christchurch

Goom Landscapes proved its versatility with the Angel Care Preschool project, recently completed in Fendalton. The company was engaged to design and build new landscaping for the site which had to include suitable play areas for small children, with special consideration given to safety and child-friendly scale, while at the same time giving children the freedom to be boisterous and adventurous.

The project build also had to be very practical and low-maintenance for adult staff.

What made this project even more of a challenge was that construction took place while the pre-school was operational and had to be completed over an eight week period, in stages, often throughout difficult weather conditions.

The effort was worth it, when on completion, the Goom Landscapes team were presented with a delightful cake made by the Angel Care Preschool children themselves.
