Nigel Croton

Nigel has loved horticulture since he was a young seedling. Leaving school at the end of 7th form he started his apprenticeship at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. From here he moved up to Head Gardener role at Mona Vale, before a quick stint in Blenheim to take on the Head Gardener role at Timara Lodge. We were lucky to have him join our team as head of our Maintenance Division in 2008. He loves working with plants and enjoys seeing the joy on our clients faces when a job is completed well & exceeds their expectations. He claims to be a little OCD, but this is one of the reasons why he is so good at what he does.

First concert: Dire Straits 1986 Lancaster Park or Icehouse at the Christchurch Town Hall…it’s all a blur.
