Caleb Washington

Caleb is the son of Managing Director Anthony Washington and nephew of director Tim Goom- so landscaping comes naturally! Caleb hails from Christchurch, having attended Christchurch Boys High School where he enjoyed his time on the rugby field and developed a passion for metal work, which he still enjoys today.

His childhood holidays were often spent on the family home in the Nevis Valley, sparking an interest in agriculture which led him to study agriculture and commerce at Lincoln University. He started working part time for Goom while studying at university before a stint farming. He then moved to Wanaka where he progressed to leading the Goom Southern Lakes team for three and a half years.

He returned to Christchurch in 2020 and went back on the tools with the Goom Christchurch team before taking up the role of Operations Manager in 2023. Caleb enjoys spending his free time with his partner Georgie, his dogs and hunting a jet boating.
